Dangerous Severe Weather Possible Today For Central US

Severe weather will continue today for parts of the Central US. Today there is an enhanced risk for severe weather across Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas though a lesser threat also exists for much of the Central US. Storms will begin to fire up between 3-4 p.m. EST with the storms lasting into the evening and night. The greatest threats will include Eastern Oklahoma and Kansas as well as much of Arkansas. Today's threat includes a significant chance for tornadoes in these areas as well as the threat for severe hail and damaging winds. Be sure to stay weather aware today if you live in these areas.
