Deadly Severe Weather Outbreak Impacts Southeastern US

Severe weather tore through Mississippi, Alabama and Louisiana on Tuesday afternoon causing major damage to some areas and one fatality reported near Baxterville Mississippi. The combination of tornadoes, severe hail and damaging winds impacted the area Tuesday afternoon and are continuing the impact the area as there are still multiple tornado warned storms associated with this system. We are urging people in these states to watch the weather closely and have a plan for your family during severe weather. We offer a variety of free tools to help keep you safe during severe weather outbreaks. This system will contiue tomorrow into the Carolina's, Virginia, Georgia and Florida with another threat for severe weather.
