There will be a chance for some winter precipitation in the early morning hours of Friday. Parts of North Carolina & Virginia could see some slight accumulation, but if your up around 2-6 a.m. don't be surprised if many parts of North Carolina & Virginia will see some flurries. This system will blanket many parts of the eastern coastline especially those farther north in the New England states. Below is a snapshot of the NAM 4k model, which tends to be conservative when predicting winter weather. Below that is our interactive snowfall accumulation map, which is clickable and zoomable. This map is also available in a full size map on our site and as an App download on Apple and Android, which can be found in the top menu. Be sure to like us on Facebook by CLICKING HERE to get updates on this system and future severe weather. Thanks for making us your number one source for severe weather.
