SevereWXWarn has 1.3 million site visitors in January

Severe WX Warn had a record month in January with 1.3 million people visiting the site in a single month. Last year in what was a breakout year for the site Severe WX Warn saw 1.2 million visitors in the entire year. We currently have over 100,00 downloads in both the Apple and Android app stores and have been ranked as high as the top 10 apps in both stores. Our site is on pace to have another record year and is predicted to reach more than 9 million users in 2016. We have just recently updated our site and servers to handle the number of people we have visiting the site on a daily basis. We are going to continue developing new maps, apps and technology in 2016, as well as continue to forecast major severe weather events across the country.
