SNOW ACCUMULATION EAST OF MOUNTAINS UNLIKELY FOR CAROLINA'S THIS WEEKEND

It has been a busy week following the various models and trying to predict this setup, which if happened right could have brought some snow accumulation to much of North Carolina, but with the last run of the models the system is going to be to far south for that to be a possibility. I can't rule out the possibility of a flurry or two on Sunday, but if there is it won't be enough to accumulate and the temperatures will be to warm for any snow to stick. The system coming this weekend will bring plenty of rainfall to the Carolina's and the southeast with some areas seeing upwards of an inch of rain. The system will also bring some fresh snow to areas of the mountains of North Carolina with most areas seeing less than an inch of snow as shown on the map below.
