Tropical Depression Four was officially upgraded by the NHC to Tropical Storm Danny with the 5 p.m. update and it will likely be a hurricane by the weekend with it possibly becoming a Category 2 storm over the weekend. The most recent update puts Tropical Storm Danny with 40 mph winds with gusts to 45 mph. The system is currently traveling at 10 mph and is moving northwest. As of now we believe the system will be torn apart before making it to the continental US, but possibly not before affecting some of the Caribbean Islands.
