Severe Storms Bring Tornadoes, Hail & Damaging Winds To North Carolina

Severe storms pushed through North Carolina today bringing some tornadoes, severe hail and damaging winds to parts of Eastern North Carolina today. The day started out with a slight chance of severe storms from the NWS with a 2% chance of tornadoes and a 15% chance of severe hail and damaging winds. Those predictions proved to be correct today as all three were seen across the area.
