Slight Chance for Hail, Wind and some Tornadoes across the US including the Carolina's

Severe Weather is expected across portions of the US today with some areas having a slight chance of seeing hail, damaging winds and a possible tornado. Area's of Massachusetts, New York, New Hampshire, Maine, Virginia, North Carolina, Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida have a 2% chance of seeing a tornado today, which is fairly low, but it can't be ruled out. Much of the same regions have a 5% chance of seeing damaging winds and severe hail, which is also very low. The overall outlook for the US is scattered thunderstorms over many of the regions of the US as some areas will see a Marginal to Low threat of Severe Weather today.
